License

Anima RCU is free to download, install and use on any number of your own Macs, for personal or professional work. You may not sell it, resell it, or pass it off as your own. The software remains the property of its author.

Optional support

Any money you send through the support link is a voluntary gift to the developer. It does not buy a license, extra features, or priority support, and it is not refundable by us once PayPal has processed it.

Use at your own risk

Anima RCU sends commands that change gain, phantom power, pad, polarity, mute and other settings on audio equipment. Switching phantom power or changing gain with microphones or other gear connected can cause loud noises, damage to equipment, or harm to hearing. Check your levels, keep monitors turned down while you work, and disconnect sensitive gear before experimenting. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and the author is not liable for any damage or loss arising from its use.

No affiliation

Anima RCU is independent software. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Prodigy Engineering, Avid or Apple. Product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to say which equipment the app works with.

Your privacy

The app runs entirely on your Mac and talks only to your equipment over USB. It has no accounts, no analytics and no network access, and it collects nothing. Presets are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/AnimaRCU/ on your Mac.
